Network Engineer
Current• Provide on call support for Network troubleshooting on high priority/production Impacting issues.• Worked as SRE Engineer to govern the hygiene of the Network config in the Environment and fixing any violations observed on a weekly report.• Closely working with the production teams to remediate or fix the issues observed in the Network Environment.• Analyze and troubleshoot L3 private IP MPLS carrier network via BGP peering as well as sophisticated private BGP WAN topology including WAN CE routers, configurations, QoS policies and ensure stability of the network 24/7.• Maintained communication networks, monitored network performance, and resolved any technical issues.• Experience in Cisco Nexus 9000,7200, 7600 ,3548 , ASR 1001-X, 1002-X routers, Cisco 3700 series switches: Physical cabling, IP addressing, WAN.• Worked on high end cisco devices like ASR 1001-X, 1002-X routers series and Juniper firewalls SRX 4200, SRX5400, SRX4600,SRX5600.• Worked on TCP/IP, IP configuration, subnetting, building a routing table, and other network protocols, standards.• Working with different carriers to fix the site related issues and constantly following up to fix the outages. Helping to change the configs/bandwidths to avoid any kind of disturbances or packet loss in the traffic.• Working with Datacenter technicians to fix hardware issues by troubleshooting or changing faulty ports/ cables/ modules/ devices. Performing live troubleshooting with different vendors to detect and fix distinct devices related issues• Monitor alerts on App Hero application and creating incident response including coordination with management team to ensure proper resolution of the ticket.• Working on different networking tools like Service Now, Splunk, HPNA, Forward Networks, Netdisco, Synapse, Cyrus, Aruba Mobility Master to analyze logs , config, traffic utilization and to troubleshoot different network related issues
