Strategy Development and Management: Used to Lead consultations for the development of country funding strategy; Sharing donor-specific guidelines/requirements and donor strategic intent and funding targets in accordance with Muslim Aid’s sectoral and geographical preference with sector heads. Develop and manage the proposal development calendar for Muslim Aid and coordinate timely, respond strategically to donor funding calls. Provide the final review of all proposals and concept notes prior submitting to various donors including UNICEF, UNHCR, FAO, IOM, ECHO, Water Aid, OMCOR, Pakistan Philips Morris, WFP, UNOCHA, DFID, FCO etc.Relationship Management: Led the Muslim Aid Pakistan in maintaining donor engagement by developing and maintaining effective networking and relationships with donors and Technical Managers to establish partnerships. Institutional Funding Management: Ensured pre-proposal/opportunity tracking system is established and monitored. Supervised the process of grant proposals development ensuring a strong cohesion within teams. Track proposal reviews and approvals with donors. Engaged in pre-positioning of MAP with NGOs to develop consortia. Led external partners mapping and ensured that results are incorporated into program development and institutional funding strategy. Liaise with technical teams to leverage their support in the grants development processes.Compliance, Accountability & Quality Assurance: Ensured that proposal design and outcomes contribute towards Muslim Aid Pakistan’s country strategic objectives and overarching implementation strategies. Draft and ensure compliance with risk management systems and protocols for coordination, and grant compliance. Ensured that proposals have accurate data & budgets and are in compliance with financial grant requirements. Ensured that grant proposals are compliant with local laws and procurement policies and procedures.
