Drilling Fluids Engineer• Responsible for chemicals on rig site and mixing of drilling fluids systems.• Maintain the mud parameters according to the the drilling porgram.• Update well information and reporting to the client.• Estimates mud materials and chemicals required for drilling each phase.• Ensures that adequate stock of mud chemicals is available on the Rig.• Update the weekly Mud Report based on the mud chemicals received /used daily.• Complete the Mud Cost Report and the Mud Materials used and transfered.• Follow up the mud characteristics during the operations.• Check and evaluate solid control equipments on rig site.• Reporting to the drilling fluids supervisor with the mud parameters.• Supervising and advising drilling crew for daily drilling operations.• Make sure that chemical yard is kept in good condition.Field Experience and Mud types Drilled Shallow,Vertical,Horizontal and Deep Wells (up to 19,000 ft) Types of Mud:• Spud Mud.• PHPA – KCl.• Non Damaging Fluids.• LSND Polymer Mud.• Emulsion Mud.• Completion fluids.• Formate Mud.• Barite Plugs.• Oil Based Mud.• Milling Fluids.* Additional Experience:• Dealt with High Mud Weight Systems.
