Fixed location and design a new raw water intake at Meghna River at a point with good water quality and a transmission system (2200mm dia twin pipe) to convey 950,000 m³/day to water treatment plants at Saidabad in Dhaka.2. Design new Water Treatment Plant (WTP) of 450,000 m³/day capacity and sludge treatment facility with capacity to treat the sludge generated from Saidabad I, II and III WTPs.3. Design extension of the primary and secondary distribution networks that carry the treated water to respective DMA networks.

Analysis the history of breaching that has occured on the Brahmaputra Right Embankment(BRE) since its construction and the relation between embankment breaching and flooding. 3. Design water surface profile and freeboard requirements for setting the embankment crest level.5. Design and estimate of Resettlement village including Buildings, Mosques, School, Community Centre etc. and Regulator, Fishpass, Culvert etc.6. Prepare Topographic Map, Contour Map, Borehole Map, New Alignment Map in AutoCAD and ArcGIS.
