Over fifty (50) years’ experience in corporate management of multi-disciplinary environmental, sanitary and public works engineering projects, general/ contract administration, business development, environmental management, institutional development, design, project management, project identification, planning, implementation of activities, construction management, construction supervision, procurement, and training. Involved in a large number of environmental engineering projects and studies ranging from small water supply to large water and wastewater projects in Egypt, Africa, and the Middle East. Prepared and priced turnkey proposals for industrial complexes and multi-storey car parks. Developed and delivered training courses related to O&M of pumping stations and sewer networks. Prepared technical/ financial proposals, negotiated contracts, and followed up the implementation of services for development projects financed by international lending agencies, including AfDB, AFESD, CIDA, DANIDA, Dutch DGIS, IDA, IsDB, KFEAD, KfW, UNEP/MAP, USAID, and others. Involved in the fields of private sector participation (PSP); policy reform; organization development; institutional development; municipal management and utility improvement in the water/ wastewater sector.
