• Responsible for implementation & execution of project and in time completion• Lead design for the 25,000 houses passes fiber optic network for HFC & GPON project. Acted as expert engineer to review SONETequipment from Cisco to install Virtual Hub. Tasked to design the fiber topology, VOIP and VLAN architecture for the project. This project brought DHA & Wateen Telecom together with one unifying fiber optic network. There were 388 ONU’s planned & installed to serve 40,000 customers with telephone lines, including CCT cameras such as for Police & Hospital support. • The network is moving to gigabit fiber connectivity to the desktop & customer premises. Testing of the links and network connectivity is accomplished with Bert testers, OTDRs, Fluke Scanners/Protocols Analyzers LAN probes.• Monitoring installations of equipments like ODFs , ODF/DDF racks , node cabinets , distribution cabinets , configurations , testing/commissioning of SDH Equipment , laying F.O. Cables , new ducts , hand holes through Labour contractor and sub-contractor . Planning with precast and on site cast Hand hole /Manhole installations and duct/conduit designing, laying and repairing. Project Management for implementation of FTTH (Fiber to the Home) optical networks using GPON technology to serve residential societies / MDU’s & Corporate customers  Implementation of Out Side Plant (OSP) according to Network Design documents i.e. Aerial, direct buried & conduit networks in predefined areas conceptualized by business teams• Finalizing BoQ and LLD (Low Level Design) with Designed departments/ vendors/ Contractors• Responsible of third party's activities on FO route and preventive measures applying down times and corrective maintenance and reading altering OFC route as-build diagrams and preparation of SLDs Single Line Diagrams.• Identifying vendors and arranging procurement, keeping in view the company interest.• Co-ordination with all Government and Semi Government agencies.
