Specific enhancements address the development of a dual-crew research station, increase surface operation capability, expand cockpit view scenery, and improve ground handling model characteristics. My main task was the design of the landing gear simulation model of Boeing-777 for the LaSRS++ software using C# programming language. This is a feedback control loop whereby both ground and aircraft models nonlinearly interact with each other.

    Worked with Metron Aviation and NASA on the development of several up-gauging scenarios of the fleet-shifts as a trial of the JPDO to design a NextGen system that would accommodate future passenger demands, while mitigating challenging environmental aspects. Unlike the previous up-gauging scenarios which reduce air-traffic but increase the fuel consumption, I applied the genetic algorithm Matlab toolbox to search for more complex aircraft replacement rules to accomplish significant savings in both the number of flights and therefore the fuel consumption.
