We put our efforts to develop opiate agonists for treatment of the opiate addict, hypoglycemic drugs in gestational diabetes, and anti-nicotine antibodies to manage nicotine addiction during pregnancy. Giving that the human placental microsomal enzymes play a significant role in their metabolism; our goal was to identify the pharmacokinetics parameters of relevant medications within these categories by using high performance liquid chromatography/ultraviolet (HPLC/UV).
