Creative Media Ventures is a $14m (EGP250m) Media Venture Capital fund, it focuses primarily on investing in media and media tech startups and fast-growing businesses, and secondarily on investing in traditional media. Manage and develop the team as well as manage deliverables, the project economics and risk management, client relationship, business development, and initiating cross-selling opportunities. Led business development activities such as rolling out the commercial advisory services, delivered trainings across the Middle East such as “Be a trusted advisor”, proactively led initiatives to deepen the positioning of PwC as a great place to work such as “Advisor of the Quarter”.

My responsibilities included managing the periodical closing, financial reporting, budgets, and variance analysis. I have been creating value through real time communications with commercial, supply chain teams, and the head office in Genève. I revisited the long applied cost allocation basis for financing cost, which led to 30% saving in the business unit financing costs.

Led the audit of a portfolio of international clients including leading the full audit life cycle, leading the team, discussing the findings with the client, and issuing the audit report. I got the opportunity to manage special assignments such as the Vodafone conversion project from UK GAAP to IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). Additionally, I have been appointed as the IFRS trainer, for internal and external client training.
