My first building design was created when I was 15 and I attempted to sketch a 1200-year-old massive temple complex by learning how to properly scale the proportions. Those skills and interests developed in various forms from water coloring to outdoor sketching and ended up leading me to a passion for Architecture. Ever since discovering this passion for architecture, I have been able to develop my skills and knowledge in the field by executing projects in design and property management as well as interior fit-outs. While driving these projects forward through effective team collaboration, I gained exceptional experience in budget forecasting and project presentation. These skills have allowed me to effectively communicate project objectives to key stakeholders while ensuring budget goals were met due to accurate forecasting. In addition, I also have utilized Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Photoshop to develop 2D and 3D models to better understand structural stability and risk analysis of various projects at the design/development stage. My biggest accomplishment in my career came with my involvement as the Site Architect for the Burj Khalifa Project, which is the tallest building in the world.Throughout my career, I have been able to work in a variety of different organizational and cultural environments. Gaining this experience has allowed me to gain greater insight into how to combine culture with architectural design. This approach has allowed me to understand the importance of providing quality-building solutions while also making a lasting impact on the client through my unique approachAlong with this experience, I have also been able to ensure that my knowledge and skillset in the field stay up to date since transitioning out of the industry. I have maintained my knowledge and skillset by obtaining a degree in management with a concertation in construction management. This education provided me with a deeper insight into the project’s lifecycle (before it comes to the architect for the design stage) after design, construction, maintenance and operation stages. With the extended knowledge of construction materials and specifications, construction laws, laboratory tests and methods for QA/QC practices, as well as the preparation project proposal and contract documents, I can provide exceptional support to projects of various sizes, from the start to finish.
