RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES• Receiving all responsibilities as Shift In-charge and performing all activities during the shift period.• Close supervision and smooth operation of CAT 3516B (70*1400 MW) & CAT 3516C (7*1515 MW) Diesel engines.• Capable for Engine Startup, Shutdown, Normalize, Load Management and Handling various Emergencies during the Plant operated.• Monitoring the duties and responsibilities of Shift Personnel.• Skilled in smooth operation of all control panels and Substation Equipment by using SCADA or manual system as per requirement.• By Working in hands and assisting the Maintenance Team gained Engine maintenance experience.• Quickly taking action after Engine tripping and starting engine after troubleshooting, Back feed receiving after plant tripping and handling electromechanical troubleshooting etc.• Operation & Troubleshooting work of FFP, FTP, Air compressor etc. • To Prepare Daily, Monthly and Yearly production (MOD) reports.• Checking daily Engine Logs to determine the faults.• Able to operate and troubleshoot Engine & Alternator components like Radiator fan motor, VFD, AGC, EMCP, CDVR, ECM, ACB, Thermostat Valve, Temp. & Pressure Sensor, Turbocharger, Cooling & Lubrication System, Parallel or Synchronizing system, Lube oil & Fuel filtration system etc. • Coordinating with both Electrical and Mechanical maintenance team and other departments if needed.• Issue work permission like Cold or Hot work, Ensure Lock out/Tag out and isolation for any equipment as per requirement of safely maintenance work.• Coordinating with NLDC for efficient evacuation of power as per PPA.• Capable to prepare engineering SOP and Conduct training for operation Engineers/ Operators as needed. • Calculation of electrical energy generation & auxiliary consumption, Fuel & Lube oil consumption, Fuel stock, Total Export- Import, Outage etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES• Electrical troubleshooting of Switchgear, 1600 KVAR PFI Plant, Gas Boiler, Screw type air compressor, Air Dryer, Pneumatic system, HVAC system (Chiller, Cooling Tower, Water pump, Supply air/Return air fan motor, Control system etc.) and MCC.• Tracing, diagnosing & rectifying electrical faults.• VFD Parameter setting and Terminal wiring.• Automation work by PLC.• Good understanding of electrical control circuit of any Machine.• Troubleshooting of instrumentation like Temperature controller, Pressure sensor, Pressure switch, Photo sensor, Proximity switch, Proximity sensor, RTD, Thermocouple, Limit switch, Solenoid valve, pneumatic valve, Level switch, Relay, Timer, MC, ACB, MCCB, SSR, Overload etc.• Drawing and Wiring Star-Delta Power and Control circuit for AC Motor and Have troubleshooting experience of AC Motor.
