Ash is currently the Managing Director of Goodyear Malaysia, where he is tasked with building a new organization in line with Goodyear's global transformation plan, "Goodyear Forward". He was formerly the Chief Executive Officer of Suntory Food & Beverage, where he had operational responsibilities for 11 countries, including six factories; his last role was that of CEO, Thailand, and Indochina.Before Suntory, Ash had spent over 15 years at L’Oreal, where he led brands to growth in categories that included skincare, hair care, cosmetics, and hair color. Ash has driven business strategies and P & L mandates in challenging mature and emerging markets. He is constantly re-imagining the future of the organizations he leads and future-proofing them in complex situations. A fearless, decisive, and transformational leader, he has built world-class teams, overhauled distribution routes, built cutting-edge marketing organizations, and revamped supply chains.A graduate in Biochemistry from Mumbai's St. Xavier's College and an MBA from INSEAD, Ashwin has gained multicultural experience, living in India, Malaysia, Thailand, Dubai, Singapore, Indonesia, and France. Outside of work, Ashwin has been picked by MDEC (a government-sponsored initiative to nurse digital leadership) to mentor a future generation of Malaysian CEOs. He has been invited by organizations, both public and private, to speak on change management. He is frequently invited to speak on Executive presence, Innovation, and Change management. He has also advised digital start-ups in Indonesia and Malaysia.
