Society of Nepalese Women in Economics is an initiative that hopes to convert to a Professional Association for women in economics. We started to bring together women economists of Nepal for the purpose of networking, collaboration, guidance for each other, as well as to inspire the next generation of female economists. SONWE seeks women who are students and hold careers in economics to be members and participate in future activities. Regardless of age, potential members of the Society would be women who want to grow, lead, serve the Nepali community, and uplift each other through collaborations.

Maintain order in all meetings using the most current version of Robert’s Rules of Order as a reference point. Oversee the Executive Board, professional development, and social programming. Promote the well-being of the council by assisting the organizations. Enhance professional development of the executive board.Update to the constitution annually.
