Throughout life, I have always had a keen interest in numbers and problems. I embarked on a career in Engineering straight out of high school, but then as fate had it I fell into a role as a surveyors' assistant and loved it.I have worked at 3 different surveying firms since 2007 whilst studying at USQ by correspondence, and in 2011 I decided to take the plunge of self-employment and start my own firm, Stacey Surveying. I thrive on being met with a challenge - whether it be in my professional life, or my personal passions.Whilst at Stacey Surveying, I completed the Bachelor of Applied Science (RMIT) with Honors First Class- averaging distinction or above. Throughout my time as a Land Surveyor, I have formed invaluable networks and gained many skills and extensive knowledge about the industry. I have commenced my PTA late 2023 with the ultimate goal of being a Licensed Surveyor in Victoria. Stacey Surveying currently has completed many thousands of projects across Melbourne from small extensions, to residential developments and large multi-storey sites. All of our work is of the best quality possible and is greatly respected by other professionals who utilize it for their design and planning applications. We pride ourselves on being a multi-faceted small business. Our team brings decades of experience to the table from many different backgrounds. This passion to the business has encouraged rapid growth in recent years to be a leading firm in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.We are also an active Member of the Geospatial Council of Australia. Our firm is a particpant in the Professional Standards Scheme- one of a handful in Victoria. We also actively contribute to ePlan, which is an essential part of future-proofing the profession. Personally, I am a Member of the Institution of Surveyors Victoria, and am currently working through my Professional Training Agreement to become a Licensed Surveyor in Victoria. Our team prides itself on our communication, attention to detail and equal contribution to the business. Our contribution to the cadastre is immense, as is our respect for profession.
