I lead data teams and reduce barriers to advance scientific research. I think about how we can design processes and data flows that reduce administrative burdens. For example: How can we collect data as part of routine operational processes to spend less time entering data into multiple systems and more time on value-added work? I lead the Research Professionals Network (Research Pros) at Penn State. Research Pros is focused on creating community and enhancing inclusion and belonging for those who enable research.
