Laser Project Manager
Current• Able to operate Autocad and Soildworks• Develop flat dxf patterns for laser following usfab guidelines• Understanding basic machining and fabrication prints require• creating bent to flat dxf files for laser - and evolve creating dxf for CNc press brake• DXF and GEO File Management• Main point of contact for Project Managers and Shop management to discuss laser drawing priority and status• Attend production meetings and provide status update as well as gain direction to reduce micromanaging• Provide feedback of drawing time to project manager for proper quoting• Understand Cut lists and (BOM) Bill of Materials• Capacity to make independent decisions.• Good Analytical capability, Clear Communication, Focused, Organized & Trainable• Contribute to project management tasks as needed• Contribute to engineering tasks as needed• Ensure All DXF’s are ready as Shop management requires – 50%• Work to develop bending software to reduce scrap and press brake programming – 25%• Support USFD’s companies objectives 25% LASER PROJECT MANAGER• Utilize TruTops to program laser.• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.• Proficient at working on multiple projects.• Knowledge of steel sheet stock• Familiar with weekly & monthly maintenance procedures.• Check and set lasers & laser cut conditions.• Troubleshoot cutting and /or operation problems as they occur• Experience with hand measurement tools (tape measure, calipers, and micrometers) required.• Ability to read manufacturing prints.• Safety conscious.• Time Management for production dates• Material Order Management• Invoicing for Laser Production• Coordinated Repairs and Maintenance for Laser or did repairs in house.
