Large shutdown involving tube wall demolition, steam drum repair, numerous types of welding, scrap and reinstalling coal pulverizer ducting 8ft in diameter. Welding lugs, stiffeners, brackets, seal welds, and lap welds to rig and lower the 2500lb elbows. Installed new ducting in tight quarters. Welding forms include. Inconel, stainless, hastelloy, carbon 9018, 7018, flux core, solid wire, and inconel sub arc.

Job was an overhaul on the USS. John C. Stennis due to it reaching it's mid service life. Demoed large areas of the interior sections of the ship from bow to stern starboard to port. Under main deck all the way to flight deck. Also reinstalled all structural members demoed, layed out, fabricated, read intricate ship blueprints, weld symbols, and bulkhead tack symbols for areas of ship that needed work performed. Aerospace grade welding quality was expected to be performed to protect all lives onboard.

Installed all ground layout hpvc, valves, fixtures, floor drains, sinks, and sleeves for piping. Oversaw 4 apprentices. Used GPS transit and level. Prefabricated and layed out multiple building prints and installed to elevation, pitch, and code. Installed large coolant system for buildings 5 and 6 server rooms. Use of torching, cutting, soldering, brazing, and glueing all piping. Currently rigging prefabricated hpvc to roof level for refrigeration and hvac installation.

Stitch welding with inconel, cast iron, and also stainless using (GTAW) Completed full job, closed all open doors on J.C.R. and was layed off.

Installed venting, gas line, hpvc, roof venting and underground piping. Soldered copper hot water lines, hot water heaters, also operated numerous power tools, threaders, pipe beveler, jack hammers, jlgs, scissor lifts, and forklifts for a new build dialysis building

Unload large quantities of banded steel columns, girders, joists, rebar, and pre-fabricated ornamental steel. Operate forklift, jlg, skylift, jlg forklift, concrete dispensers, pallet jacks, carts, dollies, chain falls and come alongs. Connect, weld, and walk structural members up to 18th floor. Install elevator shafts, dividers inside shaft, and anchor to inside concrete foundations while hanging from a tethered lift inside shaft. Weld on stainless, carbon, and galvanized metals. JOB WAS SHUT DOWN DUE TO COVID-19

Repairing and demoing multiple shutdowns and blow-outs inside Georgia power's Plant Bowen fossil fuels power plant. Work around hazardous chemicals and machinery constantly. Operate air hoist, Jack hammers, FCAW 316 and 310 stainless, 347 tig, 8018 stick. Tig tube weld on carbon, cast, stainless and forged metals, inconel weld on new hatches for Ash hoppers, rework membrane, patch surge tanks, work on condensers, demoed and refurbished ash hoppers and scrubbers. Used portable power jack's to position and fit up crucial elements in day to day tasks. And many other miscellaneous tasks.

Design, fit-up, square up crane assembly, read schematics, fabricate and weld various models of large overhead shop cranes from 10 to 300 tons and up. Use dial calipers, tape measures down to the 64th, magnetic drills to reem out blueprint specified bolt holes to conjoin crane and mechanical assemblies. Operate forklifts, overhead cranes during assembly and maintenance, weld on many different designs such as stiffeners, pipes, guardrails, hatches, ladders, runway beams, motor mounts, conduit mounts and so on. Build shop crane runways, paint finished products. Teach new welders our processes and give insight on how the product should be built, and take lead on new job orders and modifications, revisions as needed.
