• Management of all the projects in the books of the company and/or as directed by the company,• Preparing, negotiating and analysing costs for tenders and contracts.• Advising on a range of legal and contractual issues.• Coordination of work effort.• Conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time and labour costs.• Valuing completed work and arranging for payments.

• Carrying out tendering, submitting quotation to clients, and carrying out contract administration for all successful bids.• Scheduling, planning, and monitoring of works.• Carrying out cost reconciliation per interim payment basis to assess profitability of project. • Preparing and submitting applications for payment together with variations schedules

• Representing company’s interests during contract negotiation and during the project lifecycle and advising the company regarding project contractual matters.• In charge of scheduling of works for projects and making sure work is carried out within set project time, in accordance with client specification, and within set budgets.• Preparing extension of time claims and successfully negotiating for project time extension including preparing remediation plans setting out steps to rectify failure to complete projects within initial set time plus discussing with superiors on what resources to put in place to complete project within new timetables.• Coming up with cashflow proposals for projects based on programme of works from inception and monitoring project performance using such cashflows.• Negotiating with suppliers for best prices for required labour and material• Monitoring drawings and identifying change orders on projects, measuring, capturing, and pricing change orders and negotiating prices with clients.• Preparing interim claims/ application for payment and following up with clients to see to it that invoices are paid on time. Also responsible for negotiating final accounts with client’s Quantity Surveyors.• Leading tendering processes from sourcing of quotations to coming up with competitive rates for work from first principles and putting together all required tender documentation.• Responsible for the measurement of architectural, civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical drawings of ongoing projects. • Taking off quantities from drawings, prepared and pricing bills of quantities for regular clients.• Preparing materials schedules of materials for procurement from drawings and bills of quantities.

• Responsible for contract administration and being the contact point for clients and suppliers • Attending to all company communication especially from the project consulting team including requesting for information and approval of work on site.• Preparing and submitting extension of time claims and negotiating time allotted by client or his representative.• Scheduling of works and procurement of materials and subcontractors to carry out works for all company projects. • Analysing project financial performance and carrying out cost-value reconciliations on a regular basis to see to it that works are completed within the budget.• Coordinating and monitoring and controlling quality of work on site.• Closely monitoring progress on site to make sure that milestones are met according to the baseline programme of works to avoid time related cost overruns on the project.• Measuring work carried out by subcontractor on site and preparing their payment certificates and sending them out to the company finance department for payment at end of each reporting period.• In charge of estimating, coming up with rate build up from first principles and tendering for new work.• Measurement of work done on site, preparing all application for payment and liaising and negotiating with client’s Quantity Surveyor with regards to instructions issued by the Principal Agent. • Conducting site visits and supervision of labour on site• Remeasuring of all drawings and negotiating final accounts with the client’s Quantity Surveyor.

• Taking off quantities from drawings for building works. • Carrying out monthly re-measurement of works on site and collating information from site to prepare applications for payment. • Preparing schedules of materials from drawings and bills of quantities • Building up rates and pricing for tender work and for variations identified on site and revised drawings,• Carrying out assessment of labour output on construction sites to help with future planning for pricing and scheduling of works and supervising of labour on site.• Preparing progress schedules for running projects and attending site meetings plus drafting minutes of site meetings.
