I am a recent graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a BS in general biology. I spent 1.5 years working as an education guide at Historic Arkansas Museum. I began working as an unpaid botany intern for Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission in March of 2017. I continued until October 2017 when I was hired on as a part time research assistant within the same agency. I am eager to learn the industry of conservation and restoration, and I’m very passionate about conserving the world’s animals and ecosystems. In many cases, I find that simply educating the non-scientific community is a major step towards achieving this. Newly acquired basic skills in ArcGIS, OneNote, and MS Access accompany proficiency in MS excel, PowerPoint, and word. I am also in the process of obtaining SCUBA certification through NAUI. I work well within a team and take pride in the work that I accomplish. Open to many geographical areas.
