I have 15 years of experience in the medical field, holds the credentials of CPC, CPB and CPPM. I am a member of the AAPC, both locally and nationally as well as a member of the GKCMGMA, well-versed in the billing requirements for a variety of government programs, including Medicare and Medicaid, as well as commercial payors. I have worked closely with Provider Representatives to resolve issues so that claims get processed and paid timely, benefiting all who are involved. I understand and promote best practices in coding, billing, cash posting, and denial management. My expertise includes handling accounts for private practices, DME providers, and Behavioral Health, Orthopedic groups and extends across many states where adapting to differing rules is a must. I currently am a Practice Manager for a orthopedic group in the Kansas City area.
