Snubber Test Facility Crane Project: • Collaborated on the Snubber Test Facility project for Ontario Power Generation, focusing on delivering a new Snubber Test Bench. • Designed a custom mounting plate in SolidWorks and conducted calculations to ensure stability and prevent tipping of the bench and crane. • Modeled a jib-hoist crane in SolidWorks, performed necessary calculations to meet crane standards, and utilized Mathcad for analysis. • Prepared and presented a PowerPoint to OPG, detailing the benefits and concerns of various crane concepts. • Created documentation, including Scope of Work forms and Engineer Requisitions, to initiate the manufacturing process. • Developed a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) procedure to ensure the bench met all technical requirements and received customer approval.SolidWorks Toolbox Enhancement: • Enhanced the SolidWorks toolbox library by adding missing fastener parts, ensuring consistency in the bill of materials (BOM). • Collaborated with the Design Services Manager to accurately populate BOM fields with precision. • Gained knowledge of fastener standards and variations through detailed work on the toolbox library.Monark Magazine Component Modeling: • Read and interpreted complex mechanical drawings and modelled several parts while using the drawings as reference. • Used SolidWorks functionality to accurately reproduce the details from the mechanical drawings. • These components will become part of the overall Monark Fuelling Machine SolidWorks assembly.
