While at the DfE, I worked on project communications and engagement on a major technology project challenging the status quo. I was responsible for establishing the brand, delivering consistent marketing, and organising internal engagement for the intended audience to adjust to new ways of working.I kept stakeholders and users engaged by delivering versatile content strategies and creating entertaining video content designed to train colleagues in software that facilitated the provision of good-quality educational spaces.

I collaborated with 5 universities and 15 colleges to support the development, coordination, and delivery of student mentoring and engagement programmes with over one hundred schools and sixth forms across the region.I created and delivered hundreds of interactive workshops and presentations themed around higher education to inform, inspire and connect with audiences comprising of potential applicants, teachers, advisers, parents and carers.

Under the persona of ‘ash.illusion’, a magician-based channel, I worked with TikTok to increase the amount of high-quality, entertaining, and educational content on their platform. I designed, created, and edited 24 videos that hooked and engaged audiences. After generating millions of interactions, TikTok requested an additional 25 videos for the remainder of the campaign. I used analytics, trends, and campaign research to develop consistent growth and provide value.

I was one of seven creators chosen to collaborate with ASUS ROG through Saulderson Media to launch and grow their TikTok presence, grow their Gen Z audience and increase brand awareness through video creation and engagement.I designed, created, and edited 10 videos that hooked and engaged audiences.

Building trust between myself and my managers granted me the opportunity to provide management cover in Ted Baker Carlisle where I successfully briefed staff, delegated tasks, and ensured my team was motivated to perform operations to a satisfactory standard. During my time at Ted Baker, I was awarded best sales in the North East of England, Scotland, and Ireland selling an average of £372 per hour successfully contributing to my locations annual turnover of £1.2 million. I achieved this by consistently delivering a tailored customer service experience dedicated to resolving customer issues.I actively participated in recruitment activities, preparing presentations, tasks, and call-backs. I also delivered training to recruits on product knowledge, customer service, and protocol awareness.

HUGO BOSS formalwear was positioned fifth place out of ten in-store competitors regarding turnover. A deficit in shirt sales prevented us from entering the top three. I identified that we were losing a large volume of sales due to limited stock in specific sizes. To resolve this, I created a stock table identifying missed sales due to limited stock. I presented my findings to my Manager who then organised a visit to our location from the head buyer. My stock table was passed directly to the head buyer, and the issue of limited stock was resolved. As a result, HUGO BOSS formalwear successfully moved into the top three formalwear brands within the store.I gained experience communicating with members of the public and produced work of a high standard, including visual merchandising, to required guidelines. I also allocated designated areas for all formalwear styles to maximise service efficiency on the shop floor and stockroom.
