Before I started University I was so sure of myself, of what I wanted and where I saw myself after graduation. One semester at UNCC changed my life. I was no longer a confident architecture student. I became more in tune with myself and I started my own dog treat business. I am now a Computer Science major pursing a concentration in AI, Gaming & Robotics. Throughout my now two and a half years at University, I've come to the realization that life is too short to limit yourself. Whether that be because of self-doubt, or naysayers. I have created everything that I have envisioned for myself thus far and I continue to make my goals and aspirations a reality. There is no challenge that I have not been able to overcome with hard work, consistency and patience. Computer Science was a drastic change for me. There were plenty of times where I doubted myself, but I am proud to say I preserved and I have done what I thought I could never do; I finally understand the purpose of this: System.out.println();. When I first looked at code written in java, it was like looking at a gibberish on a screen. I may have joined my major a little later than most and I may not have the most experience, but I can guarantee that I have a passion and drive to come up with innovative solutions to all problems, no matter how complex.
