Managed distressed and performing residential/commercial investment loans including portfolios with a value of up to £30m.Developed and implemented appropriate exit strategies both consensual and via fixed charge receiverships to ensure maximum value was achieved for NBS Group.By leading negotiations with a limited company borrower, and partnering with professional property and legal advisors, I successfully developed an exit strategy which resulted in the full repayment of a £20m residential portfolio loan at nil loss to NBS Group.

Responsible for sourcing new commercial and residential investment loans via a network of contacts including specialist intermediaries and existing borrowers.Negotiated bespoke terms for each advance and presented the same to NBS Executives for approval.Consistently achieved annual targets for both lending volumes and fee income.

Established new business area within my employer's Sales Department to place commercial mortgage enquiries outside of lending policy with alternative lenders.Developed an extensive knowledge of commercial/residential investment lending policies outside of NBS.

Sale of life and critical illness protection policies.Worked closely with the branch network to maximise referrals.

Provided assistance to Commercial Lending Managers against a backdrop of challenging lending targets.Drafted new loan documentation in line with complex lending policy, instructed valuations and liaised with solicitors to ensure all conditions precedent were met before funds were released.
