Developed LEMU concept along with Lafayette, LA physician, Dr. Anthony (Andy) Blalock after limited infrastructure support by state and national agencies during hurricane relief efforts after hurricane Katrina. Oversaw all aspects of initial design to proof of concept manufacturing process. Currently developing plans to incorporate units to provide additional services including, but not limited to, mental health services, water purification, food services, staff quarters for sustained deployments, personal hygiene facilities including shower trailers, and wet and dry decontamination of personnel and equipment.http://www.laemu.org
