Executes a portfolio of Relay For Life events, Making Strides against Breast Cancer and Real Men Wear Pink with accountability for significant income targets, as well as event-related mission and advocacy activities. Ensures goal achievement through the effective leadership, engagement, empowerment and mobilization of event volunteers. Responsible for effectively and efficiently completing activities and meeting target deadlines in order to execute successful events. Implements best practices for event revenue growth; drives and encourages creativity and innovation at the event level. Monitors financial expenditures and progress against budgetary plan and takes appropriate measures to meet top line and bottom line goals ensuring a high ROI in meeting revenue targets. Engages, recruits, trains and manages relationships with community volunteers to ensure successful events execution.Engages the community to drive increased event participation; including event committee, teams, team members, sponsors, survivor/caregiver engagement, and youth engagement.Partners with enterprise support and region support services functions and ensures appropriate support is provided for successful execution of events. Responsibilities included reception and front desk duties, receiving incoming calls, taking/routing messages, greeting visitors and provided assistance as needed, managed office supplies, inventory and orders. Oversaw all donation processing and cash management received in office, as well as office volunteer management by helping recruit, train direct and coordinate office volunteers. Worked with and supposed area ACS mission teams. Provided support for the Northern Kentucky region Relay for Life teams by ordering supplies and working closely with Community Managers to ensure events success. Supported Belles and Beaus Gala where 400 guests attended per year, and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk which 2500 guests attend per year, and All In to End Cancer in which 250 guests attend per year, by ordering supplies, meeting with possible sponsors, handling money and entering data into proper data bases to ensure successful events.
