Previously he was the co-head of the investment management search practice at Monster Worldwide. Ashton joined Monster when it acquired Johnson, Smith & Knisely in 1998, where he was the head of the investment management executive search practice.Ashton began his career in portfolio management and securities analysis at Bankers Trust Company, before moving into a sales role for the bank's first generation of foreign exchange based alternative investment products. Subsequently, he joined Reuters America where he was involved in the development, marketing and sales of portfolio management analytics and security transaction products.
