I am a current student at Ball State University and work part-time for American Mortgage Bank (DBA Preferred Mortgage). I have 4 years of experience in mortgage loan processing, as well as several years in customer service and one year of administrative experience. My administrative skills were developed while working as an office assistant for Purdue University's Liberal Arts Department. I also previously worked as a barista and social media manager for Star City Coffee & Ale House. I gained valuable customer service experience while at Star City, which prepared me for a floor position at Menards. I gained valuable experience in interpersonal relations, customer service, and time management while at Menards, and these skills have served me well in my current position as a Junior Loan Processor.During my time working as a Junior Processor for Preferred Mortgage, I have completed the Fair Lending Certification and have been registered as a Loan Officer with American Mortgage Bank. My role as a Junior Processor requires that I am proficient in Microsoft applications and LendingQB - a loan operating software (LOS). I love that my position at Preferred Mortgage allows me to use my interpersonal and technical skills to help clients achieve their goals of homeownership!I will be graduating from Ball State University in December 2024 with my Bachelor's in Business Administration. My goal after graduation is to put my degree and connections within the real estate market to use and become a licensed real estate appraiser. By doing so, I will be able to help clients on their path to homeownership in a new way!
