Position: Medium term Mine Planning Engineer (Kayad UG Mines): Preparation of Mine Development & Production business plans according to yearly schedule. Develop long term ventilation strategy for mine site with ventilation engineers/long term planners Preparation of all mining related development plans and associated documentation for approval and distribution. Technically support to D & B engineers for ring designs, firing plans, slot designs, service holes designs, vent and escape way raise designs, broken stocks management and CMS reconciliation. Coordination, and deliberations with Technical Consultants like CIMFR, ISM, SRK and AMC Australia to convey the requirements and to extract the desired design, model, etc. Update short term schedule with reconciled survey data (monthly). Identify key constraints and trigger dates in mine schedule. Reconciliation and review of development and stope designs. Liaison with all stake holders and shift engineers (Operations). Economic assessment of action plans. Monthly Budget updates and cost control. Depletion of working resource model with reconciled as-builts. Liaison with long term planning engineers and Resource geologists to coordinate long term plan. Training & Mentoring of mining engineers.

Mining Engineer, working for a leading Mining & Metal multinational in new developing Underground Lead-Zinc Mine below the operating Open-Pit Mine within same ore-body. Presently, a Mine Planning Engineer, responsible for short term as well as medium term Mine Planning even assisting with long term as well. I have working proficiency in AutoCad '07 '10 '13, DataMine Studio 3D, VentSim Visual 3.0 & Rhinoceros 5.0. My role and responsibility as Mine Planning Engineer are:-- Basic Mine Designing & Mine Infrastructure Designing.- Preparation of different types of plan (i.e. Ventilation Plan, Dewatering Plan).- Preparations of plans and sections for different levels and working areas and for statutory permissions.- Reconciliation of Weekly, Monthly & Annual Plan.- Production scheduling and forecasting for sequential operation.- Preparation of Drill & Blast Design.- Identification of key challenges to achieve business plan, communicate to team with mitigation plan.- Organizing, analyzing, maintaining & reporting the data collected from different sources.- Planning, scheduling and monitoring of production drilling & Stoping Cycle.- Preparing & monitoring the LOMP, Annual, Quarterly, Monthly and Weekly rolling plan.- Preparation of statutory permission files (DGMS & IBM).- Quality Assurance & Process Enhancement.- Preparation of scope of work for finalizing contract, estimation of equipment and Manpower cost.- Process Improvement Projects.- Short term Ventilation Planning using Ventsim Visual 3.0.- Ventilation Network design assistance in long term Ventilation Planning by mesh and tree networking and simulation of quantity as per 5 yr and 10 yr mine plan.

In this given period, I worked and learned all the aspects of Underground Mining. After my probation period, I was employed in Operations & Management. I have been involved in :-- as Shotcreting Incharge (Execution, QA & QC), for short period of time, having Shotcreting operations and batch-mixing plant under control.- Drilling & Blasting Operations of Decline Faces and Stopes.- as a Shift Engineer.
