1. Breakdown Maintenance• Attending Breakdown maintenance • Doing root cause (Why Why why analysis)analysis and manual check to identify defect/ abnormality.• Restoring the defective parts & removing the abnormalities• having departmental discussion on issues /its resolution so that it could communicated to all concern for effective closure and no repetitions2. Predictive/ Preventive Maintenance• Following the prevent maintenance as per annual plan• Doing manual inspection of machine & equipment as per the Preventive Maintenance check sheet.• Restoring the defective parts & removing the abnormalities & taking corrective measures proactively.• Following and updating TBM calendar• Doing condition-based maintenance to increase the life of the equipment & continuous monitoring the equipment.• Maintaining predictive maintenance/ activity report3. Inventory Reduction & Cost saving• Identifying critical and non-critical spare parts• Maintaining the inventory of spare parts as per the lead time required to procure particular spare part.• Reducing the inventory of parts and material by identifying and replacing with common part instead of using different parts.• Reducing service cost by inhouse training of employees i.e. Forman /MWF / General fitter / & Apprentice.4. Spare Part Management• Ensuring machine wise spare part availability as per the Time Base Maintenance(TBM)• Generate PR for procurement of required Spare partTake follow up with Purchasedepartment for timely availability of spare part5. Documentation & other activities:• Check Daily breakdown report & update in SAP• Maintain documents for AuditMaintaining preventive maintenancecheck sheet, machine history card, updating TBM calendar, predictive maintenance documentation• Suggesting kaizen /SGA for improvement & implementationGiving training to casual General worker /apprentice
