About Ashutosh Tripathi

Ashutosh is a seasoned business leader with over 15 years of experience in growing and leading businesses and teams. He has strong experience in Food, Beverage and Life Science industries and has successfully led regional, national as well as export roles with P&L responsibility. Ashutosh has experience of working with multinational corporations, mid-sized companies and start-ups managing large high market share businesses as well as giving early growth, shape and direction to nascent businesses.He leads one of the two business verticals at India's largest rigid packaging manufacturer, Manjushree Technopack. In this role he manages India as well as exports business of the vertical. Prior to MTL, Ashutosh worked with Diversey for more than 8 years. In his last role at Diversey he was leading South India F&B business where the KPIs were to ensure retention of high market shares in certain segments and drive growth in low share/ fast growth segments. He won back many lost businesses, led the business to strong growth in key focus segments and defined a long term growth strategy for the business. Prior to his role as Regional Sales Head, he led the Pharmaceutical sector for Diversey India and drove strong, sustainable growth in this rather long stagnant business. In this role as well Ashutosh started business with major players in India, built compelling value propositions and a long term growth strategy for the sector. His first role at Diversey was of Portfolio Manager for India F&B business from where he navigated to sales and strategy roles.Earlier in career, Ashutosh worked with Richcore Lifesciences - an early startup focussed on conserving food and energy. He led the Sugar & Alcohol enzymes business at this Biotech start-up from a small base. Ashutosh set up sales channel for the company across the country, trained team members and worked extensively across the geography to create and grow business. He successfully led the launch of sugar processing enzymes for Richcore and defined the business value proposition from scratch - the first successful commercial launch of sugar processing enzymes by any company in India and opened a new segment.
