Stepping into this odyssey, I found myself honored to weave my efforts into the tapestry of a team that birthed the world's inaugural wireless, tubeless artificial pancreas system. Within my role, I not only fostered an environment of unceasing innovation in product architecture and design but also navigated our odyssey through the rugged terrains of prototyping, design intricacies, implementation challenges, and risk analyses. This crescendo led us to the grand stage of scaling for a triumphant commercial release. Along this ambitious expedition, we encountered obstacles that might have given pause, yet we forged ahead hand in hand, relentlessly redefining the very essence of "impossible." As a co-founder, I steered the evolution of an AI-driven personal financial management solution from concept to a robust MVP. Through meticulous market research and customer feedback, we refined our business model, addressing key pain points for revenue generation and differentiation.Collaborating with our founding team, our project mentor, HEC subject matter experts and industry experts, we translated our vision into actionable goals, navigating IP strategy and co-creating compelling sales and marketing approaches that secured investor interest.This experience sharpened my leadership skills, driving data-driven insights for continuous product improvement and confident engagement with stakeholders and investors. This involved working on telephony solutions, platform engineering, and power optimizations. Responsible for Software and Firmware development on application ready custom hardware boards for end products targeting Medical, Automotive, Fitness, Location, Wearables and other niche markets. Performed board brings up and hardware-software integration, troubleshooting and diagnostics for ARM based embedded devices. Specifically involved in porting and customizing OS and drivers for Serial, Ethernet, Flash memory, I2c interfaces, touch, sensors, LCD controllers, LED displays, backlight, boot loader enhancements in display and Secure Digital (SD) memory, single wire interface chipsets, etc. Suggested and implemented best practices for BSP development to absorb configuration changes and modifications for Hardware variations with minimal changes. Developed, customized, and enhanced device drivers and specifications for various peripherals based upon system configuration. Actively involved in debugging hardware software interfacing issues on customer devices. Implemented test applications for peripheral chips for benchmarking, performance evaluation and diagnostics. Actively engaged with hardware engineering team for schematic reviews, troubleshooting and diagnostics. Engaged in customer interaction for new product requirements, system design, joint debug sessions and project reviews, and to facilitate manufacturing and system deployment to required scale.
