Achievedan annual reduction of operating expenses of 50%.• Drafted BRD for cloud application based on global standards and companies’ expansion goals.• Initiated formation of a JV to help reduce time-to-market for a cloud solution which caters to SmartStreet-lighting solution along with other smart city verticals.• Aligned development activities with the company goal of transitioning our EPC firm into atechnology backed MSI by FY 2026.Execution of Smart Street-lighting project:• Led the team supporting installation, commissioning and operating of IoT devices and associatedcloud infrastructure across 6 states totaling 30,000 nodes encompassing green field, retrofit andESCO projects valued at INR. 50 Cr (~ 6 million USD).• Ensured that the deployed solution had necessary OWASP-based security controls such as AES-128bit encryption on device to gateway communication, defenses against replay attacks, VAPT onserver, pre-configured secure firewalls and anti-malware software.• Government achieved over 40% savings on their energy spending on public lighting, ability todetect, prevent and report on power thefts, leading to improved quality of life and safety of citizens.Strategy Planning and Management• Being a member of Excom, proposed technical strategic initiatives and product roadmaps to theboard.• Collaborated with government agencies in drafting specifications for upcoming digital initiatives inthe smart city domain.
