Ashutosh’s areas of focus and expertise comprise high stake dispute resolution and corporate-commercial matters. The dispute resolution matters that he handles are varied and not industry specific. Matters he has worked on include disputes of a varied nature relatable to industry sectors such as FMCG, pharma, real estate, telecom, insurance, mining, energy, etc. He represents clients before various judicial and quasi-judicial fora, including domestic and international arbitration tribunals.In addition to dispute resolution, Ashutosh’s focus area is corporate-commercial law. He has led well-known restructuring and corporate reorganisations, mergers and acquisitions and cross-border corporate finance, private equity and capital market transactions, including structured fund raisers and recoupment of securities upon default. Ashutosh’s corporate practice includes advisory services in relation to foreign exchange laws, securities regulations and corporate compliance matters. He has two decades of legal experience and prior to joining the Firm in 2000, he worked in the New York office of Kelley, Drye & Warren LLP. He is enrolled as an Advocate (India) and Solicitor (England and Wales) and is also admitted to the New York Bar.
