My name is Ashutosh. It’s a Sanskrit word for somebody who is easily and quickly satisfied.Therein lies the contradiction because I am seldom satisfied. I keep striving to better my result and carry on with a smile no matter how difficult the journey may seem.I am an optimist and this trait ensures that I never give up easily in life, I being an alumnus of DPS Maruti Kunj Gurgaon, Hansraj College, DU and IIM Lucknow!I have definitely made the cut in every possible way but the journey of my life is not a bed of roses. I have always believed the fact that Nothing is Impossible in life and this thought has always triggered me to take new challenges in life. I have been a dedicated, sincere and perseverant person in my efforts to achieve my goal. I never considered myself inferior and my core strength was my confidence and my parents who never made me feel I was different. I have stretched my limitations to become my strengths and never let them to daunt me. I can’t say that ‘I never fail’, but I can, proudly say that I never quit. Regarding my impairment I behave as if I have none. I don’t believe that I am less than anyone but keep myself grounded that I am no special. Although my journey of life was not easy, but I certainly was enjoyable with this positive mindset.With strong determination and hard work, I have overcome the difficulties and along with academics I had an inclination towards acting and modelling. I was always impressed by the hard-working people in this field. Being impaired in hearing and speech, expressions were only tool to portray and show this interest of mine to people. I worked on this aspects over the years and fortunately IIM Lucknow provided me with the platform through the dramatics club Abhivyakti. This club provided me a golden opportunity to explore my hidden talent.All my achievements encouraged me to explore more of my potential and I participated in Beauty Pageant, it was my chance to challenge myself. The MS Beauty Pageant was organized for the first time for plus sized candidates and I won Mr India Plus 2021 title. I would like to tell every youngster that set small goals, conquer them and make these small victories foundation for bigger ones. Following that on March 27, 2022, I also got an opportunity to walk for runway show at FDCI x Lakme Fashion Week, where Bollywood actor Neha Dhupia was the showstopper. I have been nominated for the Hindustan Times HT City 30 under 30 participation of India’s most powerful 30 people who have tried to change the world in their own way.#Nothingisimpossible #IMPOSSIBLE
