I am best known for designing search technologies deployed on hundreds of millions of devices, which power some of the largest tech companies, unicorns and decacorns, AI research labs, and defense and intelligence organizations worldwide.Since 2015, I have led Unum Cloud, an AI Software Infrastructure project that scales the Storage, Compute, and Modeling capabilities of modern intelligent systems. This includes primitives like efficient numerics and string libraries and compound systems like Search Engines, Database Engines, and Machine Learning Frameworks. Those systems rely extensively on SIMD Assembly, GPGPU, and Linux Kernel Bypass tricks.My academic background in astrophysics, coupled with my interests in chemistry and biology, has led me to occasionally participate in 'open science' projects. One of my notable contributions is the creation of a large searchable dataset of small molecules — 'USearch Molecules,' which is widely used in Pharma for computational drug discovery.In the past, I invested in cloud and semiconductor companies. Before that, in high school, I wrote some of the first educational and productivity apps on iOS, translated into 8 languages, and sold worldwide.In my free time, I co-organize the C++ and Systems Design groups in the San Francisco Bay Area, the US, and Armenia.
