Oversaw the operations of two divisions including the economic and community development division in the Office of the Illinois State Treasurer. The division manages time-deposit investments in the areas of business and job growth, community development, and agriculture. Responsibilities also include management of a mortgage guarantee program and the Technology Development Account, a $75 million fund of funds focused on investments into venture capital and private equity firms to be invested into technology companies to encourage innovation, job growth, and business expansion. I was also responsible for the Charitable Trust Stabilization Fund, a program intended to provide grants to not-for-profits in depressed areas.In addition, responsible for managing a division overseeing operations a $6 billion pooled investment fund for state agencies and local governments in Illinois. Responsibilities in this division included merchant processing of various receipts from agencies and local governments to then be invested in the fund. This involved management of a sales, relationship management, customer service, and operations staff of managers and personnel of 20+ individuals.
