Also worked with Natura’s education team, were we educated students about the importance of protecting local catchment areas. Assisted Natura's consulting team with fieldwork support.

Conducted qualitative research. Using this qualitative evidence developed a research paper that supports the need for the Gold Coast to invest in biodiversity protection. The research conducted also justified the objectives of the Nature Conservation Strategy 2009-2019, which are achieving no net loss of vegetation by maintaining a 50% native vegetation cover for the Gold Coast by the year 2019 and even move to increasing vegetation cover within the city limits to 55% by the year 2040.
