CurrentThe Center for Work Ethic Development (CWED) is the nation’s only institution focusing on work ethic to drive organizational profit and individual success. We provide assessments, training, support materials, and certifications that build a work ethic foundation that includes reliability, professionalism, positivity, initiative, respect, integrity, and gratitude. These values and corresponding behaviors result in better-prepared applicants, and employees who retain at higher rates. Through our signature training program, Bring Your A Game to Work, CWED works with youth, adult, and veteran populations served through the workforce system. Responsibilities: • At the local level, I serve on a regional Workforce Development Boards (Denver and Arapahoe/Douglas) and contribute in multiple capacities to the services offered to job seekers. • At the state level, we contribute to the efforts of Colorado’s Workforce Development Council, the State Youth Council, and the Rocky Mountain Workforce Development Association. • • Partnered with each of the 19 regions and sub-regions of the CO workforce system delivering programs and training in work ethic. • At the national level, I contribute through partnerships and involvement with the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals.
