Installation, configuration of Microsoft OS on the desktops and laptops• Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot XP, Windows 7, Windows 10, MAC OS, Microsoft Office 2007/2010/2016 and any other authorized desktop applications• Backup and recovery process Tape rotation and maintenance as per the existing standard.• Install, Configuration & support end users on the SAP application• Managing User accounts using Active Directory,• Outlook configuration/troubleshooting Exchange/POP/SMTP• Regularly provide either on-site or remote support to end users (VNC, any desk, TeamViewer etc.)• Ensure desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including file servers, email servers, application servers, and other administrative systems• Diagnose and quickly resolve a wide range of Windows applications and networking Problems to help minimize downtime• Troubleshooting network connectivity in a LAN/WAN environment• Requesting and coordinating vendor support• Study and capture trends by monitoring and analyzing incoming calls, problems and support requests by end users (Sapphire IMS ticketing tool)• Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot for barcode printers, IP Printers, computer hardware and any other authorized peripheral equipment and performs general preventive maintenance tasks.• Inventory management and reporting on monthly basis to the functional head• Maintains I.T. records and tracking for area of responsibility
