- Tasks included: Studying the mechanisms and regulations involved in EU energy markets from TSO and PXs perspectives; assessing areas of improvement for the existing simulation tool, adopting realistic modelling approaches based on exhaustive literature surveys, performing statistical analysis of obtained results. - Enhanced accuracy of simulated market clearing prices of 92% (for specific countries of interest) with the accuracy of the initial tool being less than 50%.
