I started at Limagrain on a temporary contract and was able to secure a permanent, more advanced position as a Seed Production Technician. I have experience in a variety of different tasks including operating agricultural machinery such as combine harvesters and tractors, crop inspection, sample taking, plant emasculation and pollination, identifying impurities, drilling trial plots, knapsack spraying, seed treatment, glasshouse work, stock taking and recording and many other duties. I have also achieved qualifications in spraying and fork lift driving.

Assisted the breeding team throughout the year as well as helping to look after multiple glasshouses.

Assisting nursing and dementia residents with personal care, meals and other day to day needs that they had.
