During my tenure at iDesign, I led the design and development of a location-based note-taking, and utility app. While I got to understand more about the business side and development lifecycle of a product, I translated business requirements into user stories while managing, ranking, and prioritizing the backlog to reflect the stakeholder’s requirements.Other responsibilities include conducting market research and competitor analysis, conducting A/B testing, creating and maintaining the product vision, roadmap, and product backlog of work throughout the project’s life cycle.Some highlights from this position include:➤ Helped teams deliver MVP’s according to the roadmap and increased velocity by 20%.➤ Assisted in the design of the UI and UX by using storyboards and wireframes and translating them to working code using Xcode.➤ Conducted A/B testing to make the UX more intuitive and engaging by collecting user feedback and increase engagement by 35%.

I worked as a Research Engineer at Fuji Xerox R&D Japan for the Multimedia Control Systems team.Some highlights from this position include:➤ Researched and implemented the Multimedia Processing Flow Control Systems which load dynamically and executes libraries and commands that handle images, natural languages, and OCR.➤ Prototyped the dynamic loader of Java Libraries with their existing software.➤ Researched and studied OCR recognition and NLP.➤ Helped define features and frameworks in designing a cloud-based team collaboration tool.➤ Learned and implemented the Kaizen development model by defining, observing and sketching current processes, identifying problems and brainstorming collectively for solutions.➤ Collaborated with the HR department and made recommendations to the VP of Research on how to make the R&D team more diverse and global.

I worked with the Low-Level Platform - Android team.Some highlights from my experience are:➤ Developed and worked on TTS feature prototypes for the Kindle devices using AWS and in-house API and tools. ➤ Designed and developed a P2P file-sharing system app with security and privacy control along with time-based access and user controls.
