Responsible for supporting Head of GRA Europe as Risk steward for model risk. Ensure smooth functioning of overall European model governance in accordance with the Model Risk functional instructions manual (FIM), reducing the likelihood of model rejection, IMR and Audit findings .Coordination of GRA Europe's participation in global and regional projects. Prevent any reputational risks to HSBC by implementing changes to policies and rules within agreed timeframes.Ensure that regulatory requests for the European region, includes data requests, are delivered on time. free of material gaps, with assumptions/caveats clearly documented.Manage end to end expectations of Audit and IMR with a view to maintaining good perceptions of GRA Europe.

Lead change the bank and run the bank projects and deliver the projects like HTP liquidity benefit , coverage cost , Wholesale portfolio integration and migrating the data platform from Gleam to RCT. Work with Global Banking IT and Project management team to ensure the project reaches its objectives within the defined scope of allocated financial resources. Responsible for the accurate measurement and reporting of Ex-post risk adjusted profitability measures( ROE/SVA) for the bank's banking book wholesale portfolio comprising of counterparty credit risk (CCR) and Non counterparty credit risk (NCCR)exposures based on internally assessed Economic Capital using Moody's Risk Frontier. Working closely with Capital management team in reducing Risk weighted assets (RWA). coordinating with offshore team to ensure the BAU process for Client profitability is consistent and well documented. Ensuring that all the risk-return parameters are timely updated for internal/external audit review.

Leading a team of 5 analyst and 4 associate analyst responsible for providing analytical support to Stakeholders including members of Global and regional Portfolio management functions. Lead change the bank project work as dictated by the relevant project governance to deliver project defined objectives within the available Change the Bank resource. Work with Global banking IT and Project management team to ensure the project reaches its objective within the defines scope of allocated financial resource. Support the planning and budgeting process.

Produce Analytics on wide varieties of portfolio and relationship profitability related topics to effectively communicate the benefits of analytics as part of Portfolio Management Analytical functions. Contributing in developing methodologies, overseeing portfolio data collection, running portfolio model calculations and delivering MIS on an on-going basis. Providing support to Relationship managers in understanding the risk-adjusted calculation and interpreting the results for each new deal being model viz. Share holder value added , Economic Risk Capital , Return on Equity or RORWA.

Providing support to Relationship Managers in understanding the Risk-adjusted calculations ( Share holder value SVA, ERC - Economic Risk capital, ROE/RORWA ) and interpreting the results for each new deal being model in an In house build application called Dealpoint. Actively participate in project work that arises throughout the year in accordance with the roles in various projects. this includes strategic projects like developing and testing of models and MI system.

Perform CAMEL Analysis and write up for Banks , Sovereigns and Corporates to renew the existing limits or proposal of new limits. Prepare scorecard for Broker dealer and Investment advisors to derive credit rating. Generate daily Treats limits reconciliation reports.

Reconciliations of various accounting statement day to day transactions of HSBC and Federal reserve bank and maintaining and developing few database on Business Internet Banking and Risk management company information. Processing of electronic funds instructions directly from customer or a third party processor employed by HSBC, direct payment, direct deposit payroll, cash disbursement and vendor/tax payment transactions.
