As a Supply Planner, I was mainly responsible for managing orders to maintain sufficient levels of inventory and supply of bakery goods to Woolworths stores nationally. On a daily basis, I processed and planned multiple orders using SAP. I maintained a weekly and monthly budget target. I checked JDA forecasting, maintained stocks, and informed vendors of possible future demand quantities. Also, I reviewed various reports, out of stock, miss deliveries and outbound service levels. I managed communications between vendor, transport provider, and Woolworths.

Sydney

As a Procurement Officer, I was mainly responsible for providing skilled service on the procurement of non-stock items including; tools, air compression units, aircraft parts, engineering and maintenance items, supplying units such as; air force flying squadrons, navy ships, and army vehicle fleet. I processed between 50 to 150 orders per day, most orders being varied, complex and urgent. In addition, I checked contracts to ensure all requirements were satisfied. I managed an annual budget of $2 million, and ensured that funds were available to pay for ordered items. Aside from these, I managed annual expenditure for multiple units. I was also responsible for identifying delivery discrepancies, resolving conflicts between supplier and customer.Key Achievements• Successfully increased organisational efficiencies through the creation of an instruction manual for the National Storage and Distribution Centre. Middle East Deployment

As a Warehouse Coordinator, I was mainly responsible for managing and maintaining warehouse supplying equipment for P3 Orion, Hercules C130J and C17 Globemaster aircrafts. For all active service operations in the Middle East, I monitored the supply of equipment to Army, Navy and Air Force units.Key Achievements• Effectively reduced turnaround time for supply of critical equipment coming from Australia to the Middle East from 124 days to just 24 days – a reduction of 81%.• Assumed secondary role as Supervisor in the absence of incumbent, and managed the performance and standards of staff.

As a Local Site Administrator, I was mainly responsible for providing assistance to the district administration on activities related to the computer-based stock management system. I managed stock takes and procurement, handling issues on surplus demands. In this role, I managed all supplies for groups travelling from Darwin to Exmouth. I purchased equipment for the entire airport, and ensured that those equipment were properly maintained. In addition, I managed emergency firefighting equipment, and created new stocktaking procedures. Through effective problem solving skills, I successfully handled the auditing of the 10-year history of utility bills, enabling the base to avoid significant price increases.
