Responsibilities:-Manage a team of machine operators and oversee plant operation at shop floor level to meet production targets.-Provide training to machine operators regarding machining operations, inspecting the produced parts, machine maintenance etc.-Inspect produced parts on a periodic basis to check if they meet the desired quality requirements using Gear profile tester, Roll tester, Bench center and various other quality inspection instruments.-Hourly and shift wise production tracking and OEE tracking.Worked on various gear manufacturing machines and gained hands on experience and in-depth knowledge on the manufacturing processes like Hobbing, Shaping, Shaving, VMC operations, ID and OD grinding, Surface grinding, Induction Hardening etc.Gained knowledge about overall plant operation, workflow and methodologies like TPM, 5S, Kaizen etc.
