~25 years of experience across Telecommunications, Consumer Electronics and Health Tech, I have spent the last 17 years in Global, Regional and Country leadership roles living, learning and working across Asia Pacific and Europe. Based in the Philippines between 2017 and 2021, I was leading the Philips healthcare business and organization while steering it through this pandemic. I am currently accelerating the next generation of Deep Tech Spin-offs from NTU (also my Alma Mater) while also advising a home-grown MedTech startup which is expanding globally.Harnessing an innate intrapreneurial mindset and as a passionate advocate of Open Innovation, I led the set up of Philips APAC Corporate Ventures, signed strategic partnerships with leading VC firms and steered the first few investments into relevant regional HealthTech startups. Strongly guided by an internal compass to build businesses with purpose, I led a team that incubated a mobile-health venture in South East Asia.Having cut my teeth in the Startup world, I find that I thrive in building new businesses/teams, from the ground up and enjoy supporting/advising VCs and Startups (HealthTech, Sustainability, Skill Building).
