• Supervising and executing Maintenance Planning , Outage planning, maintenance backlog identification and rescheduling of backlog maintenance etc of various Equipment in Nuclear System, BOP system and Electrical & Instrumentation. • Review and approve Long & Short Term Maintenance Plan, PM program etc of various maintenances viz Electrical, Mechanical & electrical. • Supervising, Review, Preparation and Execution of Work Contracts & Manpower Management. • Understand & review of technical specification, code & guides, standards, Manufacturer Instruction, Vendor Manuals etc of items being maintained & procured. Ensuring adequate maintenance spare inventory.• Ensuring the execution of good Quality Maintenance activity, implementation of Operating Experience.• Systems walk down for evaluation of equipment Health evaluation to ensure equipment reliability. • Apprising Management about the Efficacy of Maintenance activities, History Feedback, Change of Maintenance strategy, Maintenance Long & short Term Planning, Preparation about planned Shutdowns etc.• Supervising and executing Maintenance testing during startup and during maintenance. • Supervising WANO peer reviews, Corporate Peer reviews etc from its preparation to exit.• Providing assistance during outages, startup's or as per requirement of the plant.• Ensuring Maintenance activities in radiation areas are carried out with optimised radiation exposure and adhering industrial safety. ALARA in radiation exposure and Zero safety events is always followed. • Various other activities as assigned by Management. • People management & job planning.• Root cause Analysis & Design Change Management. • Preparation of Technical reports, Budgets etc • Managing Dissemination of Operating Experience & Lesson Learnt from various industries (both Nuclear & Non Nuclear).

Tarapur Atomic Power Station

• Acquired Maintenance qualification and was assigned the responsibility of Maintenance i.e. PM, BM, Predictive maintenance, outage maintenance etc of Electrical Equipment in Nuclear System, BOP system and Electrical & Instrumentation. • Operation and Maintenance of Chillers, Package Air conditioners, Data Centre Package AC, Window AC, Split AC for Office Air Conditioning of Main Control Room of Nuclear Power plant, Data centre, Offices, Switchyard Control Room, Switchgear building etc• Handling of Work Contracts, Maintaining spare inventory and its procurement. • Assigned the responsibility of Electrical Maintenance planning in coordination with Operation staff & Other Maintenance Agencies. • Proposing Maintenance Long & short Term Maintenance Plan and PM plan.• Checking of Maintenance Reports, Procedures, Checklists etc. • Training manpower. Dissemination of Operating Experience.• Systems walk down for identification of equipment Health and maintenance planning. • Maintenance of Equipment, preservation of installed equipment and stored spares.• Preparation of Proposals for improvement of equipment, Review of effectiveness of improvements etc.• Scheduling of Maintenance outages and preparation of Maintenance Plan during Outage and during power operation.• Was conferred “Group Achievement Award for the Year 2011, for outstanding contribution in Retrieval of Pump room crane from active area, which was used for replacement of Cobalt SPND.

Tarapur Atomic Power Station

• Commissioning of process systems assigned and handover to operation group. • Technical support and preparation of Design changes, Review changes, oversee changes are implemented.• Preparation of various plans to assists operation.• As a part of Technical support, Implemented various schemes for fast drying of Moderator and PHT system to reduce the time of commissioning activity, Cleaning and Conditioning of Pump Room air during Construction and Commissioning phase resulting in significant reduction in commissioning man-hour and various critical activities. Was conferred the “Young Executive Award for the year 2006” which is a NPCIL High Performers Awards, for outstanding contributions during commissioning phase of TAPS-3&4. • Was trained in Simulator as a mandatory requirement for acquiring Reactor operator licence (Control Engineer).• Acquired Main Plant Operation license as Reactor Operator (Level-III) on 31 Dec 2005 and successfully carried out Main Plant operations.• Executed various test during Hot Conditioning, Low Power operation, Power Rise test, Full power operation test. • Acquired Main Plant Operation license as Assistant Senior Reactor Operator, ASCE (Level-II) on 30 June 2008 and successfully and safely carried out Main Plant operations as an ASCE.• I had been recognized as a Post Graduate Teacher of the Homi-Bhabha National Institute, BARC, Mumbai.• Review operating document, revision of documents, compliance of regulatory test, review the performance of equipment, propose design changes, operating methodology etc.
