Since January 2018, In addition to his India COO role, Ashwin led the Capgemini Group wide Industrialization and Intelligent Automation function. In this role, I am responsible for defining the strategy, development and deployment of solutions for Intelligent automation. Capgemini’s Automation Drive Suite leverages best of breed solutions and partners in Robotic Process Automation (RPA), IT Process Automation (ITPA) and Artificial Intelligence and also our own rich repository of solutions and IP. Automation Drive suite has a wide ranging services catalogue for delivering efficiency for our clients and also service improvement across processes leveraging Intelligent Automation. Leveraging Capgemini’s Digital Transformation Institute (DTI), I am also responsible for developing thought leadership in the area of Intelligent Automation spanning various industries and processes. In addition, the function is also developing skilled workforce through specialized content developed by Automation Drive Academy.

In his role of offshore business unit leader, Ashwin managed team of 15,000 resources delivering the Application Services across all technologies for the largest and most mature offshore businesses of US, UK and APAC. Ashwin was part of the management board of the SBU. In this role, Ashwin drove transformation focused on competitiveness and growth working closely with international consulting firm hired to drive competitiveness program for the Company. During this period, Ashwin has:Grown the business by more than 80% improving the leverage across these regions by more than 15%.Improved the cost competitiveness by more than 25% using levers such as pyramid, offshore leverage, productivity and automation.Incubated innovation to drive new offers and services to grow market.Developed an effective international mobility program for US and the UK.
