Over 11 years experience in providing international Dutch and US tax assistance to individuals. Started in 1998 at PwC assisting fortune 500 multinationals with their international assignees to the Netherlands, advising on and later setting-up assignment policies, tax equalization calculations and Dutch income tax returns. In 1999 started specializing in US nationals by preparing US tax returns and later advising on US tax related matters. In later years my focus was entirely on dual handling of Dutch and US tax affairs for US employees of multinationals and high profile US citizens in The Netherlands. Looking for a more personal approach to tax preparation, I joined TaXpat from January 1, 2005 to December 31, 2008 focusing more on individual clients rather than multinationals. In this respect fully assisting and advising clients on personal tax planning and tax preparation instead of short term assignment assistance.
